E-Tourist Card / E-Visa

From July 01, 2022, travelers who want to visit Suriname for tourism purposes will have to pay the Registration Fee to be admitted to the territory of the Republic of Suriname.

VFS Global is the only official and authorized partner of the Government of the Republic of Suriname/Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Affairs and International Cooperation offering a Suriname E-VISA/E-Tourist card.

E-tourist card

Entrance fee

Documents to take with you

At the airport or border crossing, the immigration service checks whether you meet the requirements to enter the country. Pay attention to the documents you have to present to the immigration service and avoid misunderstandings:

• Your valid passport (must be the same one you use to apply for E-VISA and valid for at least 6 months);
• Your approved E-VISA or E-Tourist card (printed version).

At the entrance to the airport or border

As soon as you arrive:

• Present your passport to the immigration officer;
• Present your approved E-VISA or E-Tourist Card to the Immigration Officer.

Useful arrival information

• Upon arrival, you will need to go through immigration and customs procedures. Fill out the Immigration and Customs form completely and hand it over to the Immigration Officer.
