In the morning of November 3, Ambassador Robert J. Faucher encouraged a large group of local Game Wardens — who concluded a second training in Combatting Wildlife Trafficking — to continue efforts to stop illegal criminal networks profiting from Suriname’s flora and fauna. The training was hosted by retired Special Agents from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and a recognized expert in law enforcement training. The train-the-trainer program is part of our partnership with Surinamese officials to combat illegal trade in endangered wildlife.
